Macher matha(মাছের মাথা দিয়ে মুগের ডাল ) with moong dal is very popular and traditional reicpe in bengal. It is called also macher Muro diye mung dal. Macher matha that is Fish heading(its maybe Katla or Rohu) with mug dal is a compulsory menu item for Bengali Marriage Party.

মাছের মাথা দিয়ে মুগের ডাল Ingredients :-

         1. Fish Head (katla/rohu)
         2.moong dal -50 gms.
         3. musur dal -50 gms.
         4.Dried red chilliy -6 pieces.
          5.cumin seeds
         6. ginger paste.
         7. turmeric powder.
         8.Bea leaf.
         9.garam masala ( cinamon+cardamon+cloves)
        10.salt.
        11.Musterd Oil.
